Dr. Rafael Olivares graduated from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School and he is Board Certified
in Family Medicine. Dr. Olivares has volunteered his medical skills and time to various medical exchange programs including Bolivia/Colorado Medical Exchange Program, Doctors of the World, Healing Children, and Operation Smile.
Dr. Olivares enjoys treating patients of all ages and believes in forming long and trusting relationships with his patients. He is candid in his communication and enjoys working with ethnically and culturally diverse populations.
Dr. Olivares was born in Chile and moved to New York City when he was 14 years old. He moved to Colorado with his wife Amy, a Colorado native whom he married in Ghana, West Africa. They live in Lakewood with their two young sons.
