An orthopedic surgeon certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He is on staff at Frankford Hospital, Nazareth Hospital, Medical College of Pennsylvania, and Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Surgicenter. Dr. Smith is also the Medical Director of Delaware Valley Orthopedic and Spine Center P.C. where is sets medical policy and oversees the clinical staff.

Dr. Smith has been practicing medicine for over twenty years as an orthopedic surgeon. He graduated from Ohio University and received his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia. He completed both his internship and orthopedic residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Over the last ten years Dr. Smith has focused his practice on Pain Management where he has specialized in the treatment of serious back and neck problems. He has received advanced training in interventional pain management techniques, such as epidural steroid and facet injections. He is a member and an active participant of the Greater Philadelphia Pain Society and a member of the American Academy of Pain Management.
