He would not listen to anything I had to say. He asked me what was going on and he cut me off after 2 sentences and used his microphone on the computer to log our visit. We were still in OUR visit. I asked him how do I get OFF of PRILOSEC cuz it gives very bad rebound heartburn when I try to get off. He said I will most likely have to stay on it for the rest of my life or try another RX that he would recommend. I said I don't want to be on anything and I want to get back to normal since I have changed my habits and lost weight. He asked me what I was going to do to prevent the heartburn and when I told him of DGL, Papaya Enzymes, Aloe Vera Juice, Almonds to help then he said all that doesn't work and he totally dismissed everything I had to say and the visit was over. Very rude. Staying on prilosec has many health issues with long term use (I have been on for 10 years) like lower back pain, Calcium deffeciency causing people to have broken bones (lookup lots of cases being sued on internet over prilosec currently), Mineral Deffeciency (because of overgrowth of bad bacteria in small intestine), excessive gas (very embarassing!) regularly because of the excessive bad bacteria according to research, Vit B deffeciency making me very tired. He wanted me to take a test that cost me several hundred dollars when I have good insurance and my deductible is met for year already. I cancelled test and decided to try to get off Prilosec on my own! I want to feel better and taking a pill every day doesn't help, it's more of a crutch that pays these big companies for being addicted to their pills. No Thanks!
