Dr. Reepa Shah joined Women to Women, P.C. in August, 2010, after practicing in Reston VA for the last several years. She is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, having completed residency at George Washington University Hospital in 2005. Prior to that, she had completed a prestigious 7-year Combined Medical Degree Program at Boston University, graduating Magna Cum Lauda with dual bachelor degrees in Biochemistry and Comparative Religion, as well as her MD Degree. She has also completed an NIH research fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology, with several publications on female hormonal changes in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and about the menopausal transition phase of life. During residency, she had also done research on endometriosis, and chronic pelvic pain.

I did my research (tons!) trying to find a good doc in the area who was familiar with the issues of PCOS. Dr. Shah was amazing and I don't think I will ever be afraid, embarrassed, or shy of the doctor again. I actually feel empowered and not clueless like I normally am leaving a medical office.
