Rhoda Alani is a gentle and compassionate dermatologist serving her patients in the Boston area. Dr. Alani is available to her patients at the Boston Medical
Center. She provides excellent dermatological care in addition to serving as both the professor and chairman of dermatology at the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Alani is bilingual, speaking both English and French fluently. She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Alani received her medical degree from the University of Michigan. She then attended the Yale-New Haven Hospital to complete her internal medicine internship. Dr. Alani completed her postdoctoral education with Harvard University at the Massachusetts General Hospital during her dermatology residency. After completing her residency, Dr. Alani worked in the Harvard Cancer Center and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Her clinical specialties include melanoma biology, tumor angiogenesis, biomarkers, and therapeutics.
