After establishing acclaimed urgent care practices in Long Island, Dr. Park brings CityMD Walk-in Urgent Care to Manhattan. Dr Park is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his medical studies at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY. He completed his training in emergency medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center's Residency program where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Park continued his career as the Associate Program Director of the residency program at NS-LIJ's emergency department and was awarded the Teaching Attending of the Year Award by his residents for 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. In 2007 he was recognized as an expert educator and awarded a system-wide award and additionally participated in the "teach the teacher" fellowship program.
This is a walk-in clinic and they apparently don't use ZocDoc anymore. I went in for a bad sore throat and laryngitis. The place is new and clean, and they saw me right away. First I saw an assistant, who asked for all my info. The doctor examined me for less than 2 minutes. He was nice and gave me antibiotics, but not sure if he could really tell anything from that short an exam. I would recommend this place for very minor routine issues, but not if you want a thorough check-up. There is another Dr. I went to through ZocDoc, Pablo Paciucci on 72nd btwn Park and Lex who was fantastic and very, very thorough for general issues. He doesn't appear to have appts on the weekend.
The visit was not w/ Dr. Park himself. This facility is a walk-in clinic that doesn't accept appointments. Good to know it's there, but I wouldn't get my annual physical there and such.
Great facilities and advice from Doctor
