Dr. Sturm has been my dermatologist for at least 20 years. He listens well, provides answers to even my slightest query, and explains the treatment. In addition, he has a great sense of humor. I find him to be genuinely caring. I wish all doctors I dealt with were as competent and caring as Dr. Sturm. I feel lucky to have him as my doctor.

More about Dr. Richard Sturm, MD
Richard L. Sturm, MD, received his Bachelor of Science degree from Duke University in 1975 and his Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) degree from Emory University in 1980. He interned in pediatrics at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami from 1980-1981, followed by a residency in dermatology at Emory University from 1981-1984, including chief residency in 1984. Currently he holds the position of Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Emory University, and specializes in teaching dermatologic surgery. He has served as Secretary-Treasurer and President of the Atlanta Dermatological Association, President of the Georgia Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, as well as President of the Georgia Society of Dermatologists. Dr. Sturm lectures nationally and internationally on multiple aspects of dermatology, cancer treatment, and dermatologic and cosmetic surgery.

I've been a patient of Dr Sturm for over 20 years so I'm use to his professionalism and yesterday's appointment was an emergency due to an allergic reaction to some compounded medicated cream I was using for my elbow pain after surgery. I was able to get right in the office and they gave me the necessary meds to help clear the horrible allergic reaction on my arm.
