I was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on May 29, 1950. I attended Villanova University and the Howard University College of Medicine. Primary Care internship and residency were completed at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA, a Harvard University affiliated hospital. My fellowship in Rheumatology was completed at the Washington Hospital Center in August, 1981. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. The appointment was actually for my mom but she says she really liked her first visit with him and she's hopeful again. He asked questions and he listened.
