Dr. Odell is a Pasadena native, born at the Huntington Hospital where he is currently on staff. He received his medical education at the University of California, San Francisco and his Internal Medicine training at LAC-USC Medical Center. He did his Gastroenterology Fellowship at LAC-USC Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Odell has expertise in most aspects of diseases affecting adults. His special interests are diabetes, hypertension, cholesterol disorders, and medical management for gastrointestinal disorders. His experience in psychiatric medicine has derived from many years of working with affective disorders, such as anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorders. He also has expertise in geriatric problems. His practice emphasizes preventive care and health maintenance. His goals are to have a holistic, caring relationship with each of his patients.
