He fully explained every scenario possible. Took his time and was not in a rush. Was not pushy to get the surgery scheduled right away. I would recommend every person I know who has any type of ligament tear.

Although this was a very busy place, it was also a very pleasant place. The Doctor was very personable as was his PA . I enjoy a visit with any Dr. who takes time to listen completely and explain completely. I will definately follow through with recommended treatments at this office.

Dr. Bayless seems to know his stuff in regards to orthopedic injuries. However the reason I had to score him so low is mainly due to the fact that he was not at all empathetic as he's explaining to me a very unexpected (and bad) diagnosis. I made the appointment for a non-union complex fracture in my clavicle form a car accident. As recommended by the Ortho Surgeon I initially say, it was left untreated - no surgery, no Physical therapy. A year a half later, my shoulder has been in a great deal of discomfort and I'm constantly suffering pain in my back, neck, shoulders, and arms. It's only worsened as time passes.
Before even seeing or speaking to me, I was told by the PA they wanted X-rays of my neck... still no explanation as to why my neck needed X-rays so I asked the nurse if this is correct because I'm seeing him for a fractured clavicle, and she simply said yes but couldn't tell me any more.
As it turns out, those X-rays revealed that I have a severe neck injury from that same accident and evidently the cause for ALL of my pain! This was the first time hearing this, so naturally I questioned him about it and needed detailed answers. He became agitated and very short with me - cutting me off and not being at all sensitive to the fact I have to worry about possible neck surgery as opposed to just fixing my shoulder. I have an MRI scheduled and will have to see him again for the results.
At least next time I won't be so irritated when I receive no compassion and the MRI reveals that it really IS as bad as he thought! Hopefully that won't be the case.
