Dr. Thompson is professional, competent and kindly - rather an unusual combination these days! Add to that Dr. Thompson's dual qualifications - board certified in both internal medicine and cardiology. My only hope is that he does not retire before my need of him expires.

Top of the line: he's been my doctor for 18 years. I like the office, because it's one doctor and one nurse and one receptionist---very welcoming, competent and professional (results are discussed with Dr. Thompson in his office after each appointment: he's very perceptive and caring). I will greatly miss Nadine, Dr. Thompson's nurse, who is retiring soon, but I look forward to seeing the new nurse Pam, the next time I go in.

Doesn't take notes or listen, and acts like he is above you.

Robert Thompson MD Internist was professional yet approachable.The front office staff where friendly and organized. The waiting room was uncluttered and sleek. I needed to find a doctor closer to where I live. His office is right on the bus line, I was surprised that they validate parking too!

Visit went pretty well, overall. Doctor was quick, direct, and no-BS. The office seemed a bit under-staffed though - lots of patients to juggle and a busy front room. I was surprised to see a dog in the waiting room, too. This office caters to an older crowd, overall.

Congenial, insightful, alert to cross medication issues. Great staff, very responsive and friendly. I am a longterm patient and am certain he prioritizes my health issues as they have changed over time. Always seen right away.

Very impressed with Dr. Thompson and his entire staff. Very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. If you're busy and work downtown it's perfect.
