Dr. Guida is renowned for his command of innovative plastic surgery techniques and the natural looking results he achieves for patients. Dr. Guida believes that any cosmetic surgery procedure should reflect the patient's individuality. Dr. Guida sees himself as both a physician and a craftsman, which means that his patients have the benefit of not just his technical expertise, but also his artistic sense.

Dr. Guida feels that aesthetic surgeons must develop a sixth sense that helps them understand each patient's goals and desires. As quoted by Dr. Guida, "I spend a great deal of time listening to my patients' concerns and wishes. In addition, computerized digital imaging allows me to communicate better with my patients, giving us the opportunity to study their unique facial anatomy more objectively. It then becomes much easier for us to come up with an agreed upon approach".

Dr. Guida is personally involved in all aspects of his patients' operative care. This includes placement and removal of every suture as well as all other post-operative care responsibilities.
