Dr. Wyche is a native Washingtonian with a passion for health and a love for her community. She is a public health focused cardiovascular specialist and health advocate who believes in the efficacy of local health outreach. She participates in numerous local health programs every year with the goal of promoting health (especially in women), increasing awareness of cardiovascular disease, and where possible attempting to prevent disease via mitigation of cardiac risk factors. Dr. Wyche has served as a speaker, host and panelist for many community-based organizations and media outlets. She is currently the Advocacy Committee Director of the American Black Cardiologists and continues to work to influence policy decisions that improve access and quality of care for patients and fair reimbursement for cardiology services.
