Welcome to my office. I am a Board Certified Dermatologist specializing in General & Cosmetic Dermatology. As a Clinical Assistant Professor at the NYU School of Medicine, I have been teaching dermatology residents every week for the last ten years. In 2006, I was honored with a Teaching Award. I opened my practice to offer patients the highest level of integrity and qualifications (as well as a personable bedside manner). In this office: *Every visit and every procedure will be with me; you won't be pawned off to a P.A. or moonlighting resident. *I do not have a "skin care line"; you will be prescribed real medication, not some repackaged cosmeceutical. *I will explain all of your treatment options, not just the ones I perform; if needed, I will refer you to a colleague. *I appreciate the cost of healthcare and provide medication samples and coupons when available. *We try to inform you in advance of any procedure that may not be covered by your insurance. Our common services... GENERAL DERM: (adults and children) acne, rashes, skin cancer screenings, mole removal, eczema, psoriasis, warts, molluscum, STDs, allergic/contact dermatitis, hair and nail problems, second opinions COSMETIC DERM: Botox, Restylane, Radiesse, Juvederm, Collagen, Sculptra, Chemical Peels, removal of benign growths, moles and skin tags INSURANCES We participate with: Aetna * Cigna * United * The NYS Empire Plan * Empire * ChoiceCare * HIP (not "FHP" or "CHP") We do NOT participate with Oxford. However, patients with "out of network" benefits may pay at the time of visit and we will submit a claim form to Oxford.

Clean, on time, knowledgeable and attentive. Doctor Stern addressed all my issues and concerns. I'm looking forward to my next appointment. The office is clean, tidy and his staff are friendly. Once I finished my paper work I was greeted by the doctor himself. A great experience!

Dr. Stern treated my teenage daughter for her acne. After waiting less than five minutes he brought her in and made her feel comfortable right away, putting her nervousness and apprehension to rest. Both he and his staff were extremely thorough, kind and professional. My daughter is excited about the results she has experienced and is looking forward to her follow up visit. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Stern to anyone in need of his services.
