Dr. Rubin Frenkel MD, FACOG

I'm first time pregnant and I had so many questions about it and the doctor rush me out the office . I'm not satisfied

It was quick. I definitely felt safe and look forward to keeping him as my doctor.

I honestly only needed a prescription and since my regular GYN was unavailable I just decided to get it from him. He tried to do more than I asked since he thought I would be his patient from now on and when I let him know that I just popped in he didn't like the fact that I wasn't coming back.. & I didn't like the attitude. He definitely judged me for being the age I am and having a child which is none of his business. I went early thinking id get through, they go by actual appointment time. But I would never go back to him again.. When he found out he was just a substitute doctor.. Instant attitude.

He was great about listening to my past history, and making new recommendatios!

Very nice, welcoming office.

I was really happy with the advice he gave me coz he knows my problem. the staff could use a little bit "people person" training. They are stiff as a board but not rude. Maybe due to the fact of language barrier or I'm too slang for them.....LOL. Overall the office is clean and very immaculate and the Dr. Rubin's the best!!!!

I was nervous with this being my first male GYN, but Dr. Frenkel was the epitome of professional. Everything went smoothly and he assisted me with all my inquiries. I have made the choice to use him as my primary GYN.

My visit to Dr. Frenkel's office made me realize that there are only a few things in life worse than a bad OBGNY checkup. My office visit lasted only about 5 minutes. Dr. Frankel walked out the room before I finished my question. I experienced a lot of pain during the checkup and was bleeding afterwards. The nurse told me it's "normal" to bleed after a check up. I had to tell her I had a lot of checkups in my life but this never happened. I asked if they could send me a report to let me know the result. She told me they never send out anything, not even an one-page letter, because they've "thousands of patients." If you want a careless doctor, being talked back, experience a lot of pain or bleed, you won't be disappointed at this office.

Dr Frenkel's office is clean and comfortable. This was my initial visit and after completing all the paper work my wait time was less than 10 minutes. Dr Frenkel had an excellent bedside manner, he was friendly, thorough and quick. Though I had no complaints or history of any problems a transvaginal ultrasound was performed. This was the first time I had a transvaginal ultrasound as part of a routine GYN exam. It was unusual but otherwise was not a problem for me. Dr Frenkel answered all my questions and overall I was satisfied with the visit. Please be aware though that they only accept cash or check as payment for your co-pay. No debit or credit cards accepted...this was an inconvenience but I will still return in the future and recommend Dr. Frenkel.

The secretary was really nice, quick paperwork. One other person in the office it was 10:30 on a saturday and I was taken so quick! The nurse was ok, heavy russian accent so it was hard for me to understand her. Dr.Frenkel was very nice, direct and to the point, thorough in his exam and questions/advice. The woman who did my sonogram was also very nice, consult with doctor went well also. Overall a great experience, def should go here!!

He was too the point and didn't waste my time with exams that weren't necessary. He dealt with the issue at hand in a efficient and thorough manner. I felt very comfortable in his care. The staff were really kind and helpful with making sure I knew what to expect in terms of follow-up

This is my 3rd visit to this doctor. My first 2 visits were fine. It was just the initial check-up with questions I had that were answered by him. I DO agree with others on my first two visits that he is VERY quick and kind of rushes out the office intending for you to follow. Anyway... my last visit was the worst. He was about 40 min late, and getting my follow up for the first two visits he told me what the issue was and then was told google it. REALLY??? when he walked out the room he told me to make another appointment and when I went to the front desk, I tried to ask more questions because he obviously didn't fill me in. He then STATED THE CONDITION OUTLOUD (with another patient in the waiting area) which made me very uncomfortable then said, 'just research it online, it's ok'. Haaaaaaa..... I mean. Just horrible. :(

Good doctor and very nice staff! If anything, my two complaints are that I waited nearly an hour for a 10 minute checkup and was not informed in advance that I would need to pay by cash or check.

He was completely thoughtless and inconsiderate and behaved as if he's been in this field far too long. I would never let him near my vagina again. He didn't fully examine me but made a decision based on my narrative. He left the door open when he examined me without stating his intention to do so and then when he invited someone into the room when I requested a closed door (as he should), the person came in in the middle of the examination, exposing me again. He was cold and rude. Never!

Very professional and knowledgeable, and at the same time down to earth. We had some pretty funny (to me) but real conversations....makes me feel extremely comfortable when I can talk to my gynecologist about uncomfortable but necessary issues. He got right to the point and asked all the right questions. This will probably be my gyno for the next 15 yrs!!!

He was very thorough, but very hasty. Barely allowed time to ask questions, even when over the phone. I had to call back, because during the first call, he failed to give me all my results.

Stuff is unprofessional and lacks common sense, office is in serious need of cleaning and technology update, doctor has no interest in patients or providing them with any information.

I woke up with a strange pain knowing I am pregnant, and looked right away on ZocDoc to find a OB who took my insurance, and was also great. Well It was a great visit. I was seen within 10 minutes, He was courteous, answered all of my questions, and also did a transvaginal sonogram. I couldn't be more pleased! I will continue to see him! The doctor was very professional, quick, and nice. I came in for a uti and came out with meds to treat it. Office staff was also very nice and professional.

I did not have a good visit at this doctor office.I scheduled an appointment days in advance.When i got there the doctor wasn't there.When he finally arrived which was an hour later. No apologies or anything.I felt very rushed and to me he was rude,curt,and rash.I will say his medical assistant was nice.Long story short i will not be returning.

The office was nice the staff was very nice. The doctor was a bit fast. I didn't get much out of him but that he doesn't take my insurance to care for me and my pregnancy. I guess after he noticed my insurance he wasn't very much interested in continuing the visit. I wasn't aware he didn't take my insurance for the pregnancy. When I booked the appointment I entered my insurance and reason for appointment and his name popped up. Being that I missed half a day of work just to hear that he didn't take my insurance was a waste of my time. Ask before you make an appointment. So you won't waste ur time.

GOOD DOCTOR BUT DOES HIS JOB TO FAST DIDNT EVEN HAVE TIME TO TALK TO HIM ABOUT WHAT WAS GOING ON WITH ME .

I saw Dr.Frenkel for a few months into my pregnancy till thankfully I switched doctors. His staff spelled my name wrong on many occasions. He also made me very uncomfortable about my 1st pregnancy. He gave me wrong info on a shot I needed ( I'm rh neg ) i never recived it and then still charged my insurance for it . Also his sonogram technician was rude and talked on her cell while performing my gender check sonogram. Please save your self and go somewhere else!

Unsatisfactory. The appointment was very fast, the doctor was rash. I could not ask even a question. He refused to explain anything to me just was trying to push me doing some evaluating procedures in his different office.

Overall the visit went well I have no complaints. He did an in debt physical on me and I didn't have to wait as long as I thought I would and the staff was very nice to me. I'd recommend him.

I was amazed to get such a treatment from an office that accepts medicate patients. The office was super clean and sterile. I loved the nurse and her way of treating she was very efficient. Dr Frenkel really surprised me, I loved the way he spoke,explained,and made sure I understand everything he said . Moreover, I been changing my GYNs Dr like sucks I hated every GYN I went to, they never spoke or explain anything to me. However Dr.Frenkel answered all my questions and was super nice and gentle(forget about the fact that he is handsome lol ). I think that every patient is looking for a Dr that takes his time and talks to his patient s. As professionalism you really can see that Dr. Frenkel really know what he is doing , I felt confident and calm in his hands . I would like to thank Dr Frenkel and his stuff for giving such a VIP treatment to every patient. Last thing I would like to mention, NO ONE PAYED ME TO WRITE THIS! ? I HOPE U ENJOY YOUR VISIT .

Definitely a friendly, talkative guy. Unlike other reviewers, I waited for about 35 min. He was thorough and informative enough. However the nurse/assistant was ditzy.

My appointment was at 7 and I was leaving the office by 7:30! He was super nice and professional. FYI: he takes cash only for the copay. This is temporary, though... I think.

Dr. Frenkel was great! There really was no wait, in fact when I got there it seemed like he was waiting for me, that was sweet considering I've wasted so much time waiting for other doctors. His exam was extremely thorough and I felt very comfortable so yes, I would recommend this doctor!
