Russel Miller, M.D. has been practicing general orthopedics in the Franklin Square area/Valley Stream area for the past thirty-four years. He is board certified and a fellow of the American Academy of orthopedic surgery. Dr. Miller recived a BA degree from Harper College, State University of New York at Binghamton and his M.D. degree from Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan. He did a surgical internshipat Beth Israel Hospital, NYC and then did on the job training in orthopedics while serving as a major in the United States Army. Following the military he did an orthopedic residency at Long Island Jewish- Queens Medical Center. Dr. Miller Joined Island Musculoskeletal Care, in November 2003. He now is the orthopedic district surgeon for the New York Police Department. He continues to enjoy private practice and his relationship with his parents.
