Dr. Salman Ashruf is a board certified aesthetic plastic surgeon and a certified hand surgeon. He uses the latest in minimally invasive cosmetic surgery techniques to achieve beautiful cosmetic surgery results. His knowledge and expertise in the field of hand surgery has restored form and function to injured hands, as he performs hundreds of surgeries per year.

Dr. Ashruf is a Maryland Native, he attended Loyola high school, then went to the Medical College of Ohio and after obtaining his medical degree, completed an intergrated plastic surgery residency at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York.

He then completed an aesthetic fellowship at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, there he also served as an instructor of plastic surgery. Dr. Ashruf then completed a hand fellowship at The Indiana Hand Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Dr. Ashruf's commitment to his areas of specialty, aesthetic plastic surgery and hand surgery has allowed him to serve the greater washington area with pride and confidence. His dedication to his patients, their needs, and their lives has enabled him to help many people achieve their dreams.

Dr. Ashruf enjoys art, reading, and outdoor sports. He is the father of three children.
