Having grown up on San Diego, California, Dr. Hesse received her Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Diego. She then graduated from the Ponce School of Medicine with honors in 1996. She has been a member of the Alpha Omega Honor Society since 1995.
She went on to complete her surgical internship ans otolaryngology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Hesse has been Board Certified in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck surgery since 2001 and has been practicing in South Florida since 2001.
In addition to General adult and pediatric ENT, Dr. Hesse specializes in head and neck cancer surgery, endoscopic sinus surgery, pediatric and adult airway surgery including sleep apnea.

In and out of the office in 40 mins. Dr. Hesse listened and took the necessary time with me as her patient.
I felt Doctor Hesse was very good. The downfall was that she was on call at the ER the day of my appointments which resulted in almost an hour delay in being seen. A courtesy notification to the patient of possible delays in appointments due to being on call would have been appreciated. My time is as valuable as Dr. Hesse's. I found Dr. Hesse to be excellent in our appointment and would recommend her with a caution around being on time for appointments. This is only my first appointment and it could have been a fluke.
