Dr. Saffana Hassan MD

Professional Statement

As a thoughtful and compassionate provider, Dr. Saffana Hassan is completely focused on taking care of patients and making them feel better. Dr. Hassan is originally from Bangladesh, and has received extensive training at the University of Texas Medical Branch in allergy, immunology, and asthma. She is proud to serve the Houston area.

In order to stay on top of the most current research and findings on allergies, she attends conferences hosted by the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology. At the office, Dr. Hassan not only performs allergy tests but can also perform spirometry tests to help diagnose asthma and other conditions that may affect breathing. In addition, she’s able to administer Xolair to help patients suffering from allergic asthma.

Patients are treated politely and humanely by Dr. Hassan and her office. Dr. Hassan is involved in her community by helping to care for those in need at community hospitals and urgent care centers.
