I have been a patient of Dr. Grubman's since 1998, so that speaks volumes. Aside from the fact that he is an excellent Doctor and knows his field, he is also very patient, he listens (VERY important), and is extremely pleasant.

Dr Grubman was great - asked good questions, kept me at ease, probed for understanding and is going to try to really figure out how to fix my potential allergy problem. I originally came to him with my 4 year old daughter who had a major rash and high fever - no one could figure out what was wrong with her until we came to him out of desperation. He diagnosed her on the spot and told us that she had a very uncommon allergic reaction - she finally got better after his prescribed therapy.

Dr. Grubman doesn't apply a cookie cutter approach - he appreciates that medicine is both an art and a science and works with his patients to find the best solutions. Incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in his work with patients. Highly recommended.

Great doctor - very friendly and concerned about his patients' well-being. I only waited 10 minutes to be seen. Though I did feel a little rushed during the appointment, I still felt he was thorough. He's very knowledgeable and gives you information on all options before deciding on any treatment. If you leave him a message, he definitely follows-up and is accessible if there's an emergency. The front staff is also professional and nice. I've recommended him to several colleagues and friends. Terrific office!

I went to see Dr. Grubman after having had a reoccuring sinus infection for almost two months. He was the first doctor that I have ever seen that actually tested me to find out exactly what I am allergic to. He informed me about the time of year my allergies will typically start and when I can expect them to subside. And he was spot on! I left informed and feeling like I found a doctor I could trust.

We LOVE Dr. Grubman. My son is always terrified to see the Dr. but he always feels better when we leave because Dr. Grubman really knows how to relate to children. From the parent's perspective, I found the Dr. to be very proactive with his diagnosis and has been fantastic when my son's health was at a very scary point. I have already recommended him numerous times to my friends. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE him!

Really nice doctor. I enjoyed my visit with him and felt like he had appropriate responses that we customized to me - rather than being generic recommendations given to everyone. I'm new to looking into allergies so I have no context for other allergists, but I'm quite happy with Dr. Grubman so far.

Dr. Grubman is great. He is very understanding and answers questions thoroughly (in addition to having a blog with even more information). He will offer several ideas of things to try to feel better. Following his advice, I've gotten relief from my allergies.

He was wonderful, as was his receptionist. He listened to my questions and concerns, and he didn't dismiss my reservations about taking medications and my preference for more holistic methods of treatment. I would absolutely recommend him. His receptionist was very helpful and friendly, and his waiting room has great magazines! I hardly had time to read a single article, however, as there was no wait time whatsoever. I think it was one of the best experiences at a physician's I've ever had, and this comes from a person who has always had a fear of the doctor's office.

I've been to many doctors, and the one complaint I always have is that they never have time to fully explain what's going on. Dr. Grubman was more than informative about my situation, I didn't feel rushed and I left the appointment with a clear understanding of what is going on, what could happen and what we had just done. This is, in my opinion, one of the most important aspects of being comfortable and confident in any doctor.

Samuel Grubman is a solid and reliable physician. This is a very high rating considering how horrible many doctors have become in NYC. He was professional, didn't rush, and gave good advice about all aspects of my condition. He allowed me to ask all questions without ever making me feel rushed. Most importantly, when I left his office I felt like I had a plan and a supportive physician that I could consult as needed. Jessica, who seems to run the office was just wonderful as well. All and all, this was an all around Above Average experience.

The office staff is warm and helpful. The atmosphere of the office is relaxing and well organized. Dr. Grubman was excellent. He asked questions, listened to what I had to say, and made me feel extremely comfortable. He also performed a through examination, had answers and explanations to my questions and came up with a follow-up plan, which put me at ease.

I feel like I am in very capable hands with Dr. Grubman. He is super-smart and friendly-- yet perfectly professional and focused on the medical issues at hand. When I heard about ZocDoc-- from my little brother-in-law, who is in his mid-twenties and, hence, does everything electronically-- I thought it must be too good and too modern to be true. But my experience with this allergist makes me want to find all of my doctors through this website!
