This was my first meeting with Dr. Verma. I just moved from Flagstaff to Glendale and had colon cancer surgery in May 2010. What impressed me of Dr, verma was he knew of my complete medical history!. He was prepared before meeting me. He was thorough and answered all my questions and gave answers. Whereas other Gastro doctors I have met were always eager to do colonoscopy and endoscopy (their concern is only whether insurance will pay them or not), he was clear that it was not needed at this stage for me. Indeed, not for next 1 year. He was a doctor who went by facts about patient not making money. Where do you find such ethical doctors these days!?. Dr. Verma is also friendly and very knowledgeable. It is 2 years and 8 months since my colon cance r surgery and I am back to my normal peak health. For that I have to thank many other doctors and above all my loving lord. Dr. Verma gave me lot of confidence. I am certain cancer won't return. What a blessing. I told him, there were 2 people I know who had colon cancer surgery and chemi nearly 6 months after mine and they have reccurance. How sad. My prayers to them. One of them is President Hugo Cavez. So, one has to be really lucky to overcome this scourge of colon cancer (or any cancer). Above all have faith and pray to your lord. Full marks to Dr. Verma for his professionalism and hosesty. Let him and his family be blessed.
He's amazing. I've had multiple GI specialists personally and am currently finishing up PA school so have encountered many more and he not only cares about his patients but is highly trained, everything you look for in a physician.
I was out the door at 1:24 for a 1:00 appointment. Pretty efficient staff.
