I made my appointment through ZocDoc -online appointments and didn't realize Dr Colby and Associates - the California Skin institute - had moved. I was over ten minutes late by the time I figured out where to be and the office was gracious and assured me I could still be seen. I try to get an annual skin check, but it had been over 18 months, yet Dr. Colby treated me like I was a close and familiar friend. She is thorough in her education about skin care and patient awareness and has a direct, friendly, and informative interpersonal style. I have been a patient of hers for 20 years and will continue to be.

First impressions are critical and on my first visit I was suitable impressed! Great offices, polite staff and professional conduct from the doctor. I often find the front office staff let the doctor down, but all the staff that I dealt with were pleasant and efficient. My go-to dermatologist from now on.

Dr. Colby is efficient, personable, and knowledgeable. The office staff, however, are less helpful and don't explain the cost of the visit or give any indication of how long the wait will be.

Once the doctor finally came in the exam room, it was great - but that was 45 minutes after our schedule appt so I wasn't happy about that.
