Dr. Shilpa Rose is a native of the Washington, DC area. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from The George Washington University in 1992. She graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from The George Washington University Medical School in 1996. Dr. Rose completed her residency in Ophthalmology, also at GWU, where she was Chief Resident.
Dr. Rose has been in private practice since 2000. She joined Eye Associates in 2006. Her interests include the medical treatment of eye diseases, dry eyes and contact lenses. She is on the medical staff at Sibley Memorial Hospital and is involved with graduate medical education at GWU, her alma mater.
Dr. Rose resides in Maryland with her husband and two sons.
