I'm a medical student and I went to see Dr. Bhamre for some blurry vision. He was extremely friendly and thorough, and took very good care of me. He spent more time with me than any other physician I've been to. The whole time he explained everything he was doing, and also even taught me alot about eyes that I hadn't learned yet in med school.

Dr Bhamre was friendly and attentive. He took the time to get to know my issues and try his best to explain the recommendations. He offered a holistic approach in fixing my eyes problem which I never experienced with any other doctors before. Trust me, I had seen over 7 eye doctors in the past. His practice is a small place but very cozy...Nothing like a big corporate doctor office. It is just him and a receptionist. He actually picked up the phone himself when I called to tell that I was going to be 5 minutes late. I just love the fact that he took time to get to know my problems and explain everything so clearly. He probably spent around 40 minute doing that.

In a hustle and bustle city like NYC, it has to be rare to find a Doctor who takes to the time to thoroughly explain, in layman terms, your diagnosis. He takes a genuine interest in your concerns and doesn't rush you out of the office. As I don't have a primary care doctor, he referred me to an Internist, who I'm sure will be just as great. Definitely go see Dr. Bhamre if you have any eye-related concerns. If you are reading this....I never write reviews! Go to him!

Dr. Bhamre was very personable, knowledgeable and took the time to explain my condition and the best way to manage it using a sense of humor. He's an excellent doctor and has an excellent bedside manner. He takes the time to get to know his patients and delivers the utmost in care! He's not one of those doctors who barely grunts a hello, doesn't look at you or rushes you out the door. He's very engaging and thorought. I highly recommend him as your eye care professional!

Dr. Bhamre is amazing! I was a first-time patient and he was thorough in assessing the symptoms I had been having with my eye and took time to examine and inform me of what he saw, how eye infections can occur, and the proper way to use medication to treat eye infections. I was really pleased with his bedside manner most importantly, because he made me feel comfortable and I could tell he cared.

Just as everyone else has stated Dr.Bhamre is a very good doctor. He is very friendly, honest and funny. He made me feel very comfortable at his office and my wait time was zero. Within 5 minutes of stepping into the office I was seen. And he didn't rush me out either. He took his time and explained everything to me. Despite my late arrival for my evening appointment, Dr. Bhamre greeted me warmly and was prepared for my visit. He got to know me, unlike other doctors who jump right into the exam. I had a sudden eye allergy and needed to see an ophthalmologist on Friday afternoon. ZocDoc found an appointment with Dr. Bhamre at 5pm. Considering last-minute availability, i was doubtful at first. But the visit was of extremely high quality. Dr. was very attentive. He not only looked at the immediate problem, but also conducted a thorough eye exam.
