Sidney M. Marchasin is an accomplished internal medicine specialist and medical columnist with more than 40 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is proud to work for Sequoia Hospital, which is ranked among the top five percent of hospitals nationwide and is a recipient of the 2008 Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence.
He is very old and his hands shake. He asked me the same questions over and over about my medications, the last time I had a blood test, at least four times. He also went on and on about his awards and the articles he writes for news papers, giving me a scrap book with many articles he wrote to read. He could not get the blood pressure machine to work and finally gave up and used the old fashioned cuff with the hand pump, he fumbled around for more than five minutes. He also rages about "Obamacare", I do not want to hear this political crap from the doctor, he spent more time talking about himself that treating me. Time to take down the shingle.
Dr. Marchasin is a wonderful human being. He is always willing to spend time to listen to his patients and is very comforting to talk to.
