After my second visit with Dr. Kangadis I’ve decided to make him my new PCP. There is a reason his reviews on here are near-perfect—it's because he's a five-plus star doctor (No, nobody paid me to say that!) Dr. K was very thorough as many others have said, and in that spirit I will be thorough in my review. He’s the first doctor I’ve had who actually showed me the diagram of my ECG and explained it, pointing out a slight palpitation I need to be aware of over time. In addition to all of the basic breathing tests, he also gave me an asthma test that he explained is relatively new, just to be sure because of my condition. During the consultation, he was incredibly generous with his time and comfortable to talk with. The coolness factor is backed with a vast array of knowledge as I discovered after asking what must have been a bazillion questions. I respect that he’s not afraid to give his honest opinion, even when it’s not conventional. Very impressed that he’s all about preventative care and does not prescribe medicine unless he feels it is truly necessary. Dr. K was extremely helpful and I’m so motivated that I’m currently implementing one of his suggestions to keep a consistent sleep schedule. Also, the doc is with the times- he “e-sent” my prescription so all I had to do was pick it up. As for the décor of the office, all of the rooms I was in were refreshingly spacious, nice and clean. I will definitely be recommending Dr. Kangadis to my favorite people.

Dr.Kangadis is the best dr i have ever had!!! he did a thorough exam made me feel extremely comftable and gave me the straight up truth to all questions i had i am so glad i found him on this site i cannot wait for my next appt. Oh by the way the staff is extremely nice and the nurse super patient, calm and comforting Dr.Socrates Kangadis ur AWSOME!!!

I was so impressed with Dr. Kangadis's attention and general bedside manner. He is exactly what a primary care doctor should be. I would recommend him to anyone!

it's been a long time since I felt this confident about a doctor. He spent an hour and a half with me, talked though all my problems, and I left feeling like my health care was (finally) in excellent hands.

1st time visit. Great doctor. Did a thorough consultation and explained all results in detail. Did not feel rushed or uncomfortable. The staff is great. The office immaculate. Would definitely refer him to my family and friends.

First time visit. Went for two reasons. I found him to be very warm and caring. I have a PCP, but if I ever needed to change, I would change to him. Definitely would return to him for any time I'm unable to see my PCP. Office staff were great! Even though I live in manhattan, his office was very easy to get to. Many many thanks!

Dr K. was fantastic and made me feel very comfortable. It's very apparent he is concerned first and foremost with helping his patients. Highly recommended.

Very easy to talk to & VERY thorough! Also, his nurses are amazing. They're super considerate and gentle. Everyone in the office, including Dr. Kangadis explained everything very clearly & welcomed any of my questions.

Best doctor I've ever had!!!

Dr Kangadis was extremely helpful. First, I have to commend his nurses - they are probably the most informative and polite nurses I've ever met. The doctor walked me through each procedure I requested and made the necessary recommendations based on my insurance plan. I came to him with several things I needed done and he took the time to explain and perform each. Afterwards, we chatted about medications and future visits, as well as cars and watches (great way to connect personally). He even took the time to call in my prescriptions thereby saving me time at the pharmacy. I'll surely recommend Dr Kangadis to anyone looking for a primary care physician in the area!

Dr. Kangadis took great care in carefully explaining to me my probable diagnosis and treatment options. I felt extremely comfortable and well-informed.

Dr. Kangadis is very nice and does not rush his patient and is very thorough when it comes to explaining things to the patient, and his assistant is very nice as well.

Dr. Kangadis is very down-to-earth, but also highly professional. He makes you feel comfortable and actually listens to what you have to say. Staff is excellent and the facility is very clean (they opened in November 2011). His sense of humor has made this the most entertaining doctor's visit I've had in a long time.

Dr. Kangadis is a wonderful doctor. I was looking for a general practitioner in New York, as I am not originally from the area. Dr. Kangadis as well as his staff of front desk personnel & nurses are just as great. Although I had to wait about 30 minutes to be seen, everyone made me feel very comfortable and my health issue was looked into very thoroughly. I highly recommend this doctor.

I felt instantly at ease with Dr. Kangadis. He doesn't rush you out the door, like most doctors this day. And you can tell he and his staff genuinely care for your well-being not just making an extra buck. I've had dry skin all my life and never have had a doctor solve my problem within one visit. My face has never been this clear or healthy in my life.

Dr. Kabgadis is the absolute best doctor ive ever been to. Not only is he throrough in his exams but the comfort factor is very high, too. Ive never felt comfortable describing all of my symptoms before. I highly recommend this doc, especially if u feel like uve hit a dead end with other doctors

Dr. Kangadis listens to you! I had some allergy testing done. The doctor and staff are very professional and thorough while making you feel comfortable.

This doctor is AWESOME! Very knowledgeable, great bedside manner, and he immediately puts you at ease. Most doctors let you talk for 5 minutes before they write you a script, but Dr. Kangadis took the time to do a thorough consultation and exam. All the staff were professional and friendly.

Best doctor I have ever been to

This was my first visit to this clinic and doctor. I was impressed with both. The clinic is new and clean. The support staff are friendly & professional. Most importantly, the doctor was very friendly, courteous and respectful. My reason for going to the doctor was sensitive in nature but I felt relaxed to speak openly about it with this doctor.

The staff were very polite, professional, and friendly. The nurse was thorough and took her time. The doctor was very detailed and asked me pointed questions which helped to get to the root of my problem. He spent about 30 minutes with me (this is the most time I've ever been allotted by a doctor). When I call the office to follow up on my results, I am patched straight through to the doctor. The overall experience is very good. I will return and highly recommend to everyone.

I was very nervous to enter a doctors office that was new to me but from the moment I stepped in I was swept away with their professionalism. I couldn't thank Dr.Kangadis enough for all his help on my visit. You can tell just how dedicated he is to his patients and I had yet to find that in a Doctor until today. I know I have found my new primary care physician and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who is looking for a physician who truly cares about the patient.

Absolutely LOVED him! (Pretty sure I proposed). Wants to treat the cause of the problem instead of the symptoms for my asthma! NO other doctor has EVER done this. I am VERY impressed with his knowledge but yet he has a great bedside manner and sense of humor.

Wonderful doctor. I've yet to find someone who cares as much as he does about actually finding out about YOU and all your issues so that he can find out exactly what is wrong and solve it to the best of his ability. He listens to everything you have to say and he's to the point with his explanations, but in no way do you ever feel rushed. Quality doctor and super friendly staff as well!

He is the type of doctor that actually wants to figure out what's wrong and fix it instead of giving up because of the seriousness or complexity of the medical problem. The only other time in all my years of treatment that I actually felt like my doctors knew what they were doing was when I was being treated at the mayo clinic. I feel I can trust Dr. Socrates and that he actually cares.....and with my serious medical problems, it's important to have a doctor who knows what they are doing.

Hands down best doctor experience of all time. And that's including when I was 5 and got to play with toys and eat candy at the doctor's office. Dr. Kangadis is what would happen if you combined Seth Rogan with House, but then took out the befuddled ignorance and crippling prescription drug addiction. There was zero wait time, I was offered tea, I got a complete and thorough physical and everything was explained in a super relaxed and detailed way. I tip my hat to you, sir.

Physician Assistant was very friendly and had a great sense of humour which made me feel more at ease. Doctor was genuinely interested in my overall health and all of my concerns were addressed.

Seeing Dr. K was one of the greatest experiences with a Doctor I have ever had! He was highly caring and thorough. I enjoyed having a doctor actually listen, rather than feeling rushed out of the office. It was a pleasure to be asked questions & listened to like a human being. He is interested in overall health and causes for health problems, as opposed to simply writing a prescription. He is very blunt on issues he feels strongly about, and provides fact-based answers, rather than Pharmaceutical Industry pushed opinions. After seeing him for the first time, I feel that my healthcare and well-being are finally in good hands!
