Dr. Songhui Ma MD

I had a very satisfying first-time visit with Dr. Songhui Ma. She's very professional and made me feel confident she knew exactly what she was doing. I've already recommended her to my wife.

I guess I was hoping for more answers but I'm glad she did the allergy test. Her nurse was extremely nice and wonderful as well. Clean, welcoming office space as well.

I think Dr. Ma was very thorough in her explanation of the options I had as a new asthma patient and in answering my zillion questions. She didn't rush to give me a sleuth of prescriptions like other doctors tend to do. The office is very clean and pleasant. I did not wait long to see the doctor and the front desk staff was very courteous.

Dr. Ma was so kind and so thorough. She listened to everything I had to say, and offered advice without being forceful. It is clear that she truly cares about her patients. Highly recommend.

She is very knowledgeable, and it is apparent in her practice. She answered all of my questions, was very helpful, and overall I got a great vibe from her - finally decided to begin allergy shots and I finally found the right practitioner for me.

I am very happy with my first visit with Dr. Ma. She was pleasant, took time to hear out my story from a previous food allergy problem i had experienced. She didn't tell me things i wanted to hear, nor can'dt coat anything, she was very up front, and spoke to me like i wish more doctors would with me. Very honest and direct.

This visit was really great. I had been having what felt like awful allergies for about a month consistently. I went into Dr Ma's office (found randomly on ZocDoc) and was seen right away. She didn't even have a receptionist she came over and handled everything herself, I didn't even have to wait. She listened to me detail every symptom I was feeling and thoughtfully explained every antibiotic she was prescribing to me and why. She gave me a few allergy tests as well which I had never had done and found extremely beneficial. Overall, easy and painless experience with Dr. Ma.

Dr Ma was amazing! She was so attentive and listened to my concerns. She also asked if I had any questions at the end of my visit, which, I found meant so much to me. Far too often doctors are in a rush and are just anxious to get to their next patient. But not Dr Ma. I felt that she truly cared about me as a patient and wanted me to get well.

I was desperate for some help with some seasonal allergies and went to Dr. Ma without knowing much about her. After leaving Dr. Ma's office I was exceedingly happy with how I was treated. This is my first time posting a review of a medical professional, but I was so relieved after my appointment that I felt compelled to recommend Dr. Ma for her bedside manner and ability to LISTEN to the patient. Dr. Ma was thorough, and didn't make me feel the slightest bit rushed or invalidated. From people I've met in all situations in New York, it seems that medical professionals tend to be extremely knowledgeable about disease without considering how it affects the patient. This is not the case with Dr. Ma. Her staff is also excellent - again reflecting that she cares.

Dr. Ma was wonderful. She spent a good deal of time listening to my symptoms and getting my history. She listened carefully and was interested in figuring out what was wrong. She was not only very friendly but also instilled confidence that she'd be able to help. Highly recommend!

Dr.Ma is terrific! I went to see her due to my severe allergic reaction to certain foods, and she listened patiently to all my symptoms and explained next steps, foods to avoid etc. One of the best medical experiences I've had in the City, and I have quite a few specialists here.

Dr. Ma was very personable and thorough. My wait time was very short, especially considering it was at the end of the day, but she still made a point to apologize and let me know she'd be with me shortly when I was in the waiting area. She went above and beyond to give me the time and care that I wish I could get from every doctor.

Wonderful in every way. Looking forward to seeing her again. She was especially wonderful with our little son, who was her patient. She was incredibly informative, made us feel prepared for the tasks ahead & the new protocols we have to put in place based on her findings. The doctor took a careful, thorough history, which I appreciate. She explained most of what was going on in our discussion and while reviewing tests, which were done on-site and in about 15 minutes. Be warned that she speaks very softly (maybe it was just the day I visited).

The doctor was very nice and asked lots of questions. I had to go get blood work and make another visit so until then I don't know what it is I am having issues with. After my second appointment hopefully we will be able to work together to find out what has been happening and ways to help me going forward. She was very relaxed and cool compared to most doctors. I loved how clean her office was and how nice they were.

I can breathe and wear my contacts again!! I have never gone to see an allergist before and now I can't believe I waited so long!! Only a week after doing all the things she suggested, I wake up without wanting to scratch my eyes out and able to breathe! She is Dr. Ma is great, easy to talk to and provides a solution.

She is one of the only doctors that ever made me feel like I was her only patient. She listened and really worked with me to figure out my allergy situation. Highly recommended.

I had to see Dr. Ma on multiple occasions and each time was great. She was very thorough and tried to help me get to the bottom of my health issues in as easy a way as possible. I was extremely appreciative of her attitude and overall willingness to help.

Although I did wait for 60 minutes, Dr. Ma and her staff were always attentive and made me feel I was not forgotten. Once in with Dr. Ma, she listened and was very detailed about the procedures, medications and next steps. I enjoyed this visit very much and plan a follow up in 30days.

She's very nice, great bedside manner, extremely accommodating. I wanted to get tested for allergies and even though I had taken bendadryl, she still tried to see if it would work. She asked if I had any questions for her and she was extremely interested in other testing that I had done regarding my allergies and sinuses.

She took the time to explain her thought process, why my symptoms lead her to her prognosis, and what she planned to do to help my health issues. She gave me time to ask questions, and made she that I understood everything. Overall she was fantastic - the best doctor I've ever met.
