Warm and friendly doctor--didn't rush me and answered all my questions and gave me several choices for care

I didn't have any problem with Dr. Arsht, but I got to see him after waiting for an hour and 20 minutes when I showed up on time. Spending that much time to see him for 5 minutes or so for a minor injury just doesn't add up to me. I made an appointment with him after reading the reviews on ZocDoc specifically based on the wait time, and ended up leaving frustrated to realize how much time I wasted. Plus, for some reason I thought he was in private practice, but it's part of the big Beth Israel hospital- no wonder it was so crowded? The doc told me that it's not common to wait for that long (Maybe it's true based on other reviews. Maybe they either over-booked the patients that day, or there was some miscommunication between the receptionist (none of the reasons are good anyway), who appeared overwhelemd by a buch of patients who were complaining about the wait time. I would recommend Dr. Arsht as a doctor. But considering the wait time? I'm not sure. Who's got that much time to waste in the waiting room? And the beauty of ZocDoc is that I can choose the time I want to see the doctor. Right? I love ZocDoc, but it didn't work out this time.

Him and his staff were very professional and polite. I was in and out in no time and he had no problem saying if he did not specialize in something and providing you with information on doctors who do. I would see him again.

My visit was great. I was a bit late and called. But, they were very courteous. The paperwork was minimal. I waited about 2 minutes to be called in, and 3 minutes before the doctor entered the room. Although he had a crowded waiting room, Dr. Arsht actually listened, asked informative questions, appeared very knowledgeable, and had me out of there in just a few minutes without the feeling like he was rushing me, or not really listening. It was a great visit!

Dr. Arsht was really great. He took the time to explain my injury and the possible options for treatment. He didn't rush me or try to push me into a decision. He was very curteous and respectful and well informed.

Dr. Arsht is an incredibly competent doctor, knowledgeable in his field and is really great with his patients. He takes all of his patients information in consideration. The only issue I have with Dr. Arsht is his office staff. They are unprofessional and incompetent. If you somehow knew you wouldn't need any follow-up care, I would say to go to Dr. Arsht. If you are going to need to communicate with him repeatedly, save yourself the trouble.

Dr Arsht and his assistant were both excellent. everything was explained and follow up appointment already arranged. They even dealt with pre approvals with my insurance for me.

I was very impressed. Not only was I seen right away, but wasn't rushed out at all. Dr. Arsht explained and showed me everything he was doing. In addition, he and his wonderful PA followed through with my next steps immediately and thoroughly. I feel very lucky to have found him.

Great office centrally located in Union Square. Very capable receptionists desk that even let me download the forms to fill out before coming in for my appointment. Doctor is so friendly, clear and helpful. Already enacted great treatment just from the consultation. Would definitely recommend to others.
