Steven R. Chesnick graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Tulane University and received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. His residency in Otolaryngology was in a combined program of Tufts and Boston University Medical Schools where he was also a teaching fellow. Dr. Chesnick is associated with Jefferson Medical School as an assistant clinical professor and served as co-director of the Head and Neck Laser Course at the medical school. He is a member of the Pennsylvania and Montgomery County Medical Societies. Dr. Chesnick has been practicing in the area for over 30 years. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

The doctor didn't take the time to explain anything he was doing as he examined me and seemed annoyed when I asked what drug he was suddenly spraying up my nose. He was rough when cleaning my ears and made several rude comments. He made me feel uncomfortable the way he reacted to my questions and concerns.
Also, I've had my ears cleaned at a local urgent care center by very capable nurses and they have never treated me so roughly. He had to put drops in my ears afterward to prevent infection from the scratching caused as he dragged hard wax through my ear canal. Other professionals have always used softening drops before cleaning to help the process. I was horrified by his lack of respect for me and his insensitivy overall. Terrible experience.

Dr. Chesnick was wonderful. He provided me with clear diagnostics and treatment plan. He even draw a diagram to illustrate where the blister is on my vocal cord and helped me to understand what the issue is.

The visit was good. I had to wait more than an hour. My appointment was at 3.45 pm but my turn came after 5.00 pm.
I filled out my history form before my visit at ZOCDOC but when I was at the office some of the information transmitted was wrong. My history form transmitted from ZOCDOC showed that I use recreational drugs. I have never used recreational drugs. There was some technical problems on certain pages where you have to click on a circle as positive or negative. I think that need to be fixed. I am sure I clicked the correct choice that I never used recreational drugs but it still showed otherwise. I am glad that the lady asked me before entering the information. Over all it was fine. No major complaint. I am satisfied.
