She is very direct which I appreciate. She also knows what's happening in current medicine and is able to identify the best course of action for your needs. LOVE HER!!!

She was fantastic! Really was able to put me at ease while being extremely professional at the same time. Best experience I have ever had at a gyno appointment.

She was great. Aside waiting what seemed forever to see her, my first visit with her was short but she immediately knew what my problem was. Not only that, but what I forever have been thinking is a problem and put off by my primary care physician, she addressed and wanted to figure it out right away. I feel like she knows me better than my doctor who I have been seeing for years.

I have been waiting for 50 minutes with no end in sight. Doctor walked in 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start! Unprofessional, i would have liked to sleep in too. She's an alright doctor but I refuse to go to someone that doesn't value my time.

Dr Sue was very friendly and professional. I would see her again. The only thing that I didn't like was I was seen by her one hour after my scheduled apt. Her front staff respond was "we are always busy on Tuesdays." This is not an excuse and unacceptable for a patient to wait that long in the lobby without the staff even appologizing or caring that I was waiting this long. My meter expired and I was lucky not to get a ticket!

Enlightening, encouraging and uplifting!

Dr Kafali is very friendly and nice. She listened to me carefully. The only thing that I could ask more was that if she could suggest me some options how I wanted to proceed for what I am concerned. For example, I have little knowledge about how birth control works and affects my pregnancy when I want to be. I felt I was rushed to tell her what my concerns were. Another thing is I like the Dr.Sue, but I did not like the Thorek hospital. Two of receptionists were not friendly, not nice or polite. I experienced Illinois Masonic was way too better. I will not come back to this hospital.

Dr. Kafali always is quick, professional, and makes sure all of my lady part questions are answered. Wait time is long, but the office staff is great so it's not so bad. She is very direct, which I like, but may not be for everyone.

I thought that Dr Onispir-Kafali was lovely, and would love to continue being her patient. Coming to the office you had to ring a doorbell for permission to enter, there was no one at the desk and I stood outside for 5 minutes not sure if the office was closed. Finally the pharmacist in the building came to open the door. The office staff didn't seem to be in a hurry to help me. I pre-answered all my medical questions online and was told that they didn't have those available so I had to redo them in the paper version.The receptionist also asked me use my cell phone to call my insurance company to verify coverage. Said that the office phone was not in working order. That request was made of me after 50 minutes of waiting for my appointment. I had to hand my cell phone to the nurse so she can ask about my insurance, thought it was handled in an unprofessional manner. I would like to continue going to Dr. Onispir-Kafali, but try to find her at a different office.

Dr. Onispir-Kafali is wonderful. She always takes as much time as I need and answers all my questions thoroughly. The organization in the office (reception area) could use some improvement - they have scheduled an appointment incorrectly for me & made a mistake regarding my insurance. However, I would definitely recommend the doctor!

She was a very nice Doctor. I would like to say her diagnoses for my infection was quick. I will see if the prescription is all that I needed. I will be seeing her again in 2 weeks.

Do not go to her if you're a sexual abuse or rape survivor. I am and I included this information on my intake form-- clearly she didn't read it. When I told her during the appointment, she was shocked and made several appalling comments like, "Didn't you tell your mother?" and "That's interesting." I felt horrible. She also tried to tell me about different treatment options for a condition I have while I was not fully clothed and waiting for the exam. The exam at least wasn't painful and she was quick about it, but she also refused to continue when she saw I was crying and so I had to stop before she would continue and just get it over with. She seemed well-intentioned and is probably great if you don't have a history of sexual assault, but I would absolutely never recommend her if you are. Also, not terribly aware about LGBTQ issues.

Dr. Kafali was warm, engaged, and put me totally at ease. Her staff was wonderful, and I was in and out the door in about 30 minutes! Highly, highly recommend.

I have been a few times but my last visit was the worst and I wont be going back. The Dr only ever gave me less than 10 minutes of her time after having to wait for nearly an hour. They split your time between waiting room and the treatment room where they leave you sitting alone. The Dr speaks so loudly that you can hear her talking to the patient in the next room. Hardly great for confidentiality! I get the impression that she only cares about making money and not about the well being of her patients. If she would just spend a little more time trying to get to know the patients and listen to their concerns rather than rushing out of the room and prescribing something quickly or ordering expensive tests/scans.

She was very comforting and friendly.

I can't say enough great things about Sue. I was very nervous going into my appointment (my first appointment for my first pregnancy) but she made me feel so comfortable & took her time with me & encouraged me to ask any questions about anything. She & everyone in her office were very friendly & professional & they were very excited for me & my husband about our pregnancy. Overall, we couldn't have felt better & more excited after leaving our appointment with Sue.

Both Dr. Kafali and her staff were very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. She is a bit brisk when explaining things to you, but when asked to clarify more thoroughly, she was happy to oblige.

The wait time was an hour and 40 minutes. Nothing was said to address the delay either. The office is extremely small - only 2 exam rooms and about 6 chairs in the waiting room. The waiting room was full the entire time I was there and at times people were standing. I also felt there was a lack of privacy in the office. They called us back individually into an open room to do our vitals and discuss our medical history and concerns. Again, the office was extremely small and there wasn't a closed door. After this, we were sent back into the waiting area to wait an additional hour, if not more before we actually got an exam room. Some of the girls would come back and their seats were taken. This was my first time with this doctor and do not plan on going back.

She's sweet and awesome! Very informative, and made me feel comfortable

I really enjoyed meeting Dr. Sue B. Onispir-Kafali, she made me feel very comfortable. I did however feel like she rushed through our appointment... I was unable to ask all the questions I had hoped to and I still have not heard back/had any follow up regarding my visit.

Dr. Kafali is great! Very friendly and answers and and all of the questions you have.

I really like seeing her, she makes us (me and hubby) feel very comfortable. The only thing I find strange is that she has never asked us "do you have any questions?" we always seem to catch her on her way out the door by trying to ask something at the end of the appointment.

I feel this is more of an office you want to go to for maternal matters but if it's just for basic women's health it can be quite uncomfortable. There's no privacy when dr.kafali writes the prescription so the people getting their weight and blood pressure are literally inches away hearing everything and it's so incredibly uncomfortable. I've never experienced that in a doctors office. Hopefully she will one day write prescriptions with you in the room or something instead of where anyone and everyone will hear. It makes me want to just run out with out my script. Also with my visit I felt like the women who I believed was a nurse was almost smerking about the prescription I was being prescribed and I felt she was completely unprofessional. I'm already having an issue and this experience only made it worse.

I had to visit Dr. Kafali under special circumstances resulting in the need for a medical procedure. She was very informative, patient, kind and gentle every step of the way. I would recommend her to everyone!

I absolutely love Dr. Kafali! She's very knowledgable and she's on it right away. She understands my concerns and works with me. And the icing on the cake is how wonderful the office staff is! They're friendly and really get to know me. I love that they offer complimentary cookies and coffee too :)

I would not recommend going to Dr. Onispir-Kafali. After leaving work early for an appointment, I walked into a packed waiting room and waited over an 1 1/2 to see her - I should have left at that point. My work recently changed insurance carriers so I made the appointment as a new patient annual exam. My prior doctors have always spent a considerable amount of time with me especially as a new patient but that was not the case. She spent 10 minutes in the room and as she was walking out asked if had I had ever had an ultrasound. I said no and her response was "well I think you need one, to see what is going on." Needless to say I was upset and would have expected an explanation (I have never had any issues). She just walked out of the room and told me I needed to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. Then, the icing on the cake - apparently, she was upset with one of her employees and as I waiting to pay/check out, she screaming at her in front of me in a different language. I have never been more uncomfortable with any doctor in my life! I made an appointment with a different doctor immediately and of course there was no issues at all. I would highly discourage wasting your time seeing this doctor!

Ms. Onispir-Kafali was very considerate and understanding. She was efficient and made me feel comfortable. I felt as if I had been seeing her for years.

I thinks Dr. Onispir-Kafali is brilliant. But her office and her need to improve their appointment and time management. It seems to me that they schedule multiple people at the same time. I received a call this last time asking if I could come in about an hour early since the doctor was leaving early. I did show up an hour later... They then proceeded to make me wait 1 hour... so I ended up seeing her at the time I was originally supposed to see her. It doesn't make sense! Last time I was supposed to see her, I showed up on time and she wasn't in the office. There were 5 people ahead of me... I understand she has to deliver babies, but a courtesy call would have been nice...

Dr Kafali is awesome! Her staff is so kind and helpful. Dr. K squeezed me into her schedule last minute. She took time, listened to me, was very friendly and extremely personable. I felt like I wa talking to a close friend. Her caring was very apparent

Doctor Onispir seemed to take a very different approach to my ailment. I liked that since doctor's I've seen in the past tend to stick to one method, and one method only. Her approach was simple, practical, yet different and holistic. This was my first appointment, so it's soon to say how my treatment will go, but I definitely enjoyed my first visit.

I am new to Chicago and found Dr. K on ZocDoc. I think she is the best GYN I've had my entire life. Very professional, smart, non-judmental, and listened to my needs. The staff was very friendly as well. The wait was almost nill.

I had a small labia cyst that had been bothering me for a few months. I had gone to another doctor previously and the doctor recommended a full surgery to have it removed. I went to Dr. Sue B. Onispir and literally 1 minute after she looked at it, she did a small 30 sec procedure and took it off! I was by myself and of course your going to be a little nervous, her assistant asked me if I wanted to hold her arm, I thought that was very nice. I found this experience so great especially since I had sleepless nights about my cyst before, since I was told I had no other choices to get rid of it but surgery. So far it hasn't come back and has not been painful at all. I highly recommend her and will be coming back to her for any type of gynecologist visit :)!

The doctor was very nice. She allowed me to explain my concerns. Also, she reviewed the comments I left for her prior to my appointment. Both mine and my husbands concerns were addresses. Her staff was extremely helpful...Dr. Kafali is our choice for our new journey! I would highly reccomend her services.

Dr. Sue B. was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I just moved to Chicago so I was nervous about finding a new doctor. The receptionist and nurse were also great too! I've already recommended her to two of my friends and plan on making her my regular OBGYN doctor.

First my first pregnancy, and my appointment...she left me with no information...and to top it off, she never even gave me a ultrasound picture. Asked very few questions and never gave me any information-hello, new mom here! Found a new doctor within days.

She was very friendly, but didn't listen well. I had to repeat the same information a few different times. And I was in so much pain I could barely stand and the "soonest" I could get an ultrasound was in 2 weeks. I found another doctor that got me in in 2 days.

Dr. Kafali was fantastic! She was gentle and asked a ton of great questions. I felt like I could be open with her, which is a priceless attribute for any doctor but especially for an OB-GYN. I would definitely recommend. Also, the entire office staff was super friendly and nice!

It was my first time seeing an OBGYN ever and I was so happy with how comforting everyone was, behind the desk and in the room. Dr. Sue was running late because of a surgery, but I just brought a good book and didn't mind the wait at all. They offered me tea, coffee and cookies, so anyone who offers me food is alright in my book!
