Susan went into labor the night before my appointment so I saw Nikki, her PA. She was great.

Dr. Butler is fabulous. She takes time to listen and provides thoughtful feedback and advice. Initially went to her for a 2nd opinion but will now be switching to her as my dermatologist. I was a bit late due to confusion of address (it is 100 SOUTH Ellsworth) so that may have contributed to my wait time.

I've been searching for a dermatologist in the city for years. My criteria: current with the trends in technology and medicine; if I wanted a medspa that's where I would have gone; leave the flash at home--that doesn't impress me; are you a human? show me some warmth and don't judge; listen to me--I do a lot of research. And so, with Dr. Butler, I can check these things off my list!

She's professional, confident, personable--and listens. What more could you ask in your doctor? Clearly, she also has an understanding of what patients face in medical costs today because she passes on whatever samples and discount cards she can. As someone from St. Louis who is very familiar with the university hospitals where she obtained her training, I expected her sight-unseen to be good--and she definitely was.

I really liked Dr. Butler's bedside manner. She was to the point and explained everything in a very understandable way. The only reason I would not come back to Dr. Butler's SF office is the space itself. It just didn't feel very modern or clean (the most important thing for a Dr.'s office!). The windows, air conditioning unit, foot pedal on the table, and sink area were all very dusty/dirty and extremely worn. Also, the hazardous materials container was right next to the table, high up, and looked very old/offputting. Dr. Butler's staff was very nice, but I have to say that in an environment of hypersensitivity to cleanliness, I was a little shocked. This review is only for the SF office, I haven't visited any others.

I very much liked Dr Butler. She was Very comfortable to talk to and very thorough. I feel relieved my skin care is with her as she has an experienced eye spotting the dangerous cancers on my skin! Feel very taken care of.

I was very happy with Dr. Butler. I had to have a lydocaine injection for a biopsy on my temple. She was very skillful with the needle in a very sensitive spot.

I have seen Susan before multiple times and she is pretty good. I recommened here to anyone needs to. This is the first time I scheduled appointment with zocdoc and I had a bad experience because zocdoc didn't maintain the schedule correctly.

I'm always confused by dermotologists, they never seem to heal the problem, it's more like a process of elimination and I'm the investigator. Susan is a nice doctor, it's all in your opinion of who you like.

Excellent doctor. Clearly understood what treatment had been done in the past, what was working and not working, and gave us some logical options and a progression sequence if the first option doesn't work.

This was my first visit to the San Mateo office; I've usually seen Dr. Morganroth in Mountain View. Dr. Butler was great once I saw her, apologetic for the delay and knowledgable in her exam and recommendation.

Dr. Butler was wonderful. I had not been looking forward to this appointment but Dr. Butler put me at ease. She spent enough time with me and answered my questions. She has excellent bedside manner. I'm sending my husband to see her and I would certainly recommend her to others.
