Medical office specializing in general primary care/internal medicine, kidney diseases, dialysis- end stage renal care, kidney stones, and transplant.
She is really nice and informative. She happened to be late the day of my appointment, but I can tell she usually isn't and she was very apologetic. Highly recommend her. It's a nice office as well.
I made an appointment with her office for my annual physical exam. I waited for a considerable amount of time in the waiting room. When I finally sat down with her, she rushed through the exam. After my blood work, I was left waiting in a room not even knowing the appointment was over. I still had questions, so Dr. Chung came out from her office into the reception area to answer them. She seems impatient with me and annoyed. The receptionist was also extremely rude.
She was excellent, just as the other reviews stated. Professional, thorough, and courteous.
Dr. Chung is great. She always takes the time to understand my problems and make the right diagnosis. She even took the time to consult me on some future career plans!
I think she is one of the best doctors around. She is very thorough in assessing your health. She asks good questions and she will give you thorough testing to diagnose your symptoms. She is also very friendly and is interested in you as a person. I will definitely be going back.
Dr. Chung was very professional. She clearly communicated my issues with me and she has gained my confidence immediately.
She was really nice and informative
Great experience.I did not get the feeling of being rushed. Dr. Chung did a complete examination and was very patient in listening to my symptoms. The only negative part was the long wait time before I finally got to see her.
Dr. Susie Chung paid a lot of attention to me and provided very good service. She ran necessary tests and provided excellent treatment.
It has been over three weeks since I had a cat scan performed, and Dr. Chung has not even read the reports yet. I have called repeatedly and even after speaking with Dr. Chung about having the tests performed, three weeks later she has no recollection that I had the test, and I still have no answers. I just hope that anyone with a more serious condition than I will not make the same mistake by seeing a doctor who is so unprofessional. I can't describe how frustrated and belittled this doctor has made me feel.
The office is very clean and attractive, and the receptionist was efficient and friendly. Dr. Chung was very personable and thorough. I did not feel rushed, and she's a good listener. She's well-versed in the realities of insurance companies, and mentioned how insurance coverage might influence treatments and tests several times during our meeting. She offered some helpful suggestions about treatments and medication management. She's very honest, to the point where she suggested that her services might be redundant in my particular case. She's correct. I can only give her a "probably recommend" because I only met her once. I liked her, and I think she'd be a fine primary care doctor for someone without my particular medical issues.
I thought she was a wonderful Doctor. She was my second opinion and she did a full review of my paper work from my previous doctor. She was very informative and really took her time to answer all my questions and seemed to really care about my health. She will be my new primary care physician.
She was very thorough and thoughtful. She listened to me and asked smart questions to get a full picture of my health. She projected possible steps and options for me and made me feel empowered about my health!
Dr. Susie Chung seemed very knowledgeable, though spoke quite a bit and spoke quickly. The office was clean though and she was very helpful to my concerns.
Even though she seems very busy, she cares to get to know you and does not rush your appointment. Smart fantastic lady!
Answered all of my questions, I didn't feel rushed. She was super informative.
Very thorough and professional. I loved the fact that Dr. Chung did not pressure me into tests or exams and at the same time addressed all of my concerns. Her explanation was easy to follow. The wait time could be improved, but she experienced delay in traffic and apologized.
Very professional and very sincere. Wish I found her sooner. She will be my new primary care doctor.
She loves to educate her patients. I felt well informed about my condition and treatment plan. Highly recommended!
The wait time was pretty outrageous. However, once I saw Dr. Chung the wait time totally made sense. Dr. Chung took a lot of time to speak with me and understand my health and place in life.
Nice and personable doctor. Howver, the wait time was awful, and the service was a bit unprofessional. Not sure if I would make a second visit, but it was not a good experience overall.
It was the only professional that when calling me to provide me with my test results, explained everything with details and answered all my questions and even provided me with additional information. I am very pleased.
Dr. Chung really took the time to listen to everything I had to say and provide feedback. Addressed all my concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
Love! She is always on time and extremely friendly. Makes conversation and is quite personable. You can tell she takes her time with each and every patient. Plus, Chinatown is always an adventure!
Wonderfully pleasant, but also direct. Talks very quickly, but listens with care. Truly sought out all alternative solutions for my problem. Wait time was a bit long though.
She was really nice and accommodating. She let me talk as long as I needed to, and was able to diagnose me right away. She has a nice office, very close to my workplace!
Dr. Chung was amazing. She was very thorough with me during my appointment. She made sure that I understood what was going on and was very sweet. I was the last patient of the day for her and she still gave me 100% of her attention.
Dr. Susie is very professional and easy to get along with. Highly recommend her to everyone. Thank you dr. susie
Rudest and most unprofessional clinic i have ever visited in my life. I was horrified with the way i was treated. Would rather stay ill than visit this clinic again.
Dr. Chung was friendly. I went for an annual check-up and her questions didn't seem very thorough compared to past physicians. Furthermore, she took at least 3 phone calls while I sat half-naked in her office. She was constantly distracted and as a patient I was not comfortable.
Dr. Chung is fantastic; she will take her time to go over all your concerns and does an incredible job to make you feel at ease. She's a true professional and makes a clinical setting not so intimidating. Would love to have her as my PCP.
Dr Chung was overall a nice doctor, though the 20 minute wait was annoying and she answered a long phone call in front of me.
I really enjoyed Dr. Chung. Very easy to talk to and very friendly. Will be going back to her in the future.
Really easy to talk to. Super Helpful. Highly Recommend Dr. Chung.
Very kind and helpful!
Long wait before I was seen but Susie was great and would definitely recommend her.
She was very friendly and down to earth. She explained everything she was doing and thinking to me without being condescending. I'm new to New York and will probably make her my official new GP.
She was very personable and a great listener. She seemed interested in getting to know me as a patient. Also, even though I had to wait, it was obvious that she just didn't want to rush things with her patients. I would definitely recommend her to others.
Before she drew blood or did any examination, she sat me down in her office and we talked about my medical history and about any medical concerns I had. She was very easy to talk to and helpful in recommending a course of action. The actual check-up was very quickly and professionally done. I will be recommending her to my friends.
Dr. Chung is an excellent doctor. She is friendly and really listens to everything you say. She is great at what she does. You will definitely feel comfortable with her. The only negative is that there is a long wait but it's only because she spends her time with each patient. When it's your turn, you won't see this as a negative.
Another good visit with this doctor.
Wait time varies. But great doctor -- will listen, offer advice, very warm. Serious when needed; and more relaxed, funny when appropriate too.
I really enjoyed my visit with Dr. Susie Chung. She listened to me more than any other doctor I've been at before. She gave me good advice and did not shrug off minor things about my health. My only complaint was the 30 minute wait to get in, but this was my first time in and so hopefully it won't be like that again!
Dr. Chung was very friendly and informative. She took time to answer all my questions. I did not feel rushed what so ever, I felt like I was her only patient.
She's really personable.
Very nice office, sweet receptionist, Dr. Chung saw me right away. Appointment was very brief- I went for a check up.
I came in during my lunch break and waited over 45 minutes for my appointment with no apologies. My symptoms were fever and sore throat, and she didn't even take my temperature. To me, that's just careless.
Very pleasant. Answered all questions thoroughly. Plus an incredibly short wait which is nearly impossible to have in NYC.
Dr. Chung is very wonderful! She is very caring. She did not rush through the appointment at all, she took her time and made sure that all my cares and concerns were talked about. I will be seeing her again soon and recommend her to everyone I know. She is great!
I am thrilled with Dr. Chung. She was warm, informative, asked amazing questions and made me feel like I was in control of my situation. And when I got a little light headed during a blood test she gave me some amazing chocolate. :)
Dr. Chung took her time and did not rush the appointment. She asked lots of questions and was very informative. I definitely recommend her!!
Dr Chung was highly professional, knowledgeable and friendly. She made me feel very comfortable and provided more information that I'd expected and that definitely helped me to understand what I was sick with.
Dr Chung is fantastic (and I am very discerning when is comes to my doctors). Took me on a Saturday (when most MDs are closed), great assistant, everything was smoothly run and felt high tech, in a beautiful office! She was thorough, smart, informative and kind-- and prescribed me an antibiotic on the spot! I can't believe I almost waited until Monday to go to my regular GP (who is also awesome, but closed on Saturday)!
She explained every thing to me and the purpose and function of the current medicine that I'm taking which none of my previous doctor did with me.
My first visit and found her to be attentive and thorough.
Had to reschedule once after an hour+ wait when I was the only patient in the office.
Very attentive and sharp. She made a point of explaining the reasoning behind everything she was doing and letting me know all of my options. Really positive experience overall
I ended up waiting 2 hours to be seen. The doctor was very informative, but ended up taking another patient's call in the middle of my appointment.
