I've been seeing Dr. Gottfried for many years and wouldn't go back again if I didn't trust her and appreciate her bedside manner. The ONLY thing lacking in her practice is the wait time after you've disrobed and are left sitting on the table waiting (can go upwards of 15-20 minutes) and -- the last several times I've been there -- her medical assistant has been abrupt, and less than personable to say the least..very robot-like in fact. She appeared rushed and uncaring. I don't think she ever even looked at me....but I wasn't there to see her....I was there to see the doctor...and Dr. Gottfried ALWAYS takes her time with me...makes me feel like she's interested in my problems and is very detailed oriented. She keeps meticulous records which is important. I'll continue to rely on her.

Dr. Gottfried was super kind and caring. She had no problem sitting down with me and my 3 page list of questions, or dealing with my anxiety from past trama. When we agreed to have my hormones checked, they took my blood right there in office. While walking through the office, I also saw where they have ultrasounds set up, so it really is an office with everything! The front desk staff was also kind, and had no problem with my 5 year old having to tag along with me. Wait time was great, although it was longer since it was my first time appointment. And the decor was really relaxing as well! Overall, I nearly enjoyed my visit, and will continue to see her on a regular visit! Thanks so much Dr. Gottfried and staff!!

I have been disappointed by my experience here. After an exam I was told I needed an ultrasound immediately, which I did, but then had to wait an entire month to follow up for the results. 1. It doesn't take a month to receive the results and 2. That's a very long time to wait when you are anxious. In my opinion it is never acceptable to wait that long on results. What if the findings had been significant and needed immediate intervention? I have also been frustrated by my experience with the office staff. I'm an RN, so maybe I have high expectations but I do not think it's appropriate to refer to adult patients by pet names such as "honey" and "babe." It's derogatory, insensitive and unprofessional. I also do not think it's appropriate for medical assistants to refer to themselves as nurses. Nurses pass a board exam that certifies their knowledge base and experience. Medical assistants simply do not have the educational background or clinical experience to be answering questions or giving advice to patients.

Dr. Tamar Gottfried was able to make me feel at ease, I can't thank her enough. I'd recommend her to everyone!
