Patient Reviews for Dr. Thomas A. Scilaris - MD
I showed up early and got in early, doc was super helpful, looking forward to getting back in there and my ankle to heal!
Dr. Scilaris was thorough and professional in all ways. He is also a very reasonable fellow who does not rush to recommend surgery that might not improve my quality of life. All said, I had a very positive experience.
I enjoyed meeting with Dr. Scilaris. He was patient, eloquent and informative. What I didn't appreciate was showing up for my appointment on time and waiting an hour.
The visit was great..very pleasant atmosphere.
I've already been through ankle surgeries with two other doctors. Dr. Scilaris knew exactly what I had done and then knew exactly what my new problem was given my past history. Very smart, very professional and very nice.
Dr. Scilaris laid out a good plan of action. I had X-rays taken immediately and we went over my options. Will definitely go back for other consultations.
The office staff welcomed me in a friendly and efficient manner, and I was taken early as I had arrived quite early for my appointment. Dr. Scilaris examined my ankle and explained my condition clearly and counselled me on the way forward. I especially liked that he listened to my priorities and offered solutions that suit my particular circumstances. I consider this quite an ideal doctor experience! I would definitely recommend Dr. Scilaris and his colleagues.
Thomas Scilaris is a fantastic doctor and a great human being. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and gives highly practical advice. He is a great listener and does not suggest invasive procedures unless the patient absolutely needs them. I only wish his office was more punctual with appointments.
Great doctor, good attitude, gave medication and ask for exams, so far so good!
Excellent bedside manner, professional. However, too busy if you need anything after you leave the Office. When calling him from the pharmacy, same day of our appt. to ask if we can substitute a prescription item, as insurance would not cover it, still waiting over an 1 hr. The Office said the Dr. cannot be interrupted until he finishes seeing his patients.
I would definitely see Dr. Scilaris again in the future.
Dr. Scilaris was very professional and knowledgeable. He answered my questions and was personable. My issue is with the office. It is overbooked with patients, there was no place to even sit and disorganized. The waiting time is frustrating.
He was very professional and I can honestly say that my visit went well.
Personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning!
Feedback is really important when you are relying on the internet to find a doctor. I picked Dr. Scilaris based solely on the feedback I read. It was very helpful and honest. The office staff are professional and friendly, and Dr. Scilaris is the best as far as I'm concerned. He takes his time and explains things to you so that you understand exactly what is going on in your body. I would definitely recommend Dr. Scilaris to others and to you looking for a doctor on ZocDoc. Keep up the good work!
I really liked Dr. Scilaris and would definitely refer others to him.
