Professional Statement

Dr. Nowlin is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston and completed his residency in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. During this time he served as an officer in the United States Army. He continued his call of duty at Fort Hood, Texas, treating thousands of active duty and retired soldiers and their families.
Dr. Nowlin served as Adjunct Assistant Professor of Surgery at F. Edward Herbert School of Medicine, Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. His memberships include the Texas Medical Association and the Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Nowlin is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Nowlin’s scope of practice includes ear disorders, allergy, hearing aids, facial plastic surgery, advanced sinus surgery, and cancers of the head and neck. He enjoys treating both adult and pediatric patients. Dr. Nowlin is available in the South Austin office and the Kyle Office. He strives to stay abreast of the latest technological advances in medicine and works toward developing a trusting relationship with his patients.
