Dr. TK Venkatesan MD

This was my first ever visit to this office. They have top notch staff at this place - all incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I interacted with 9 different people while I was there. They ALL asked me, with confused looks on their faces, "now, why are you here again?" Not one person sat down, looked me in the eye and let me explain in detail the reasons why I was there. Dr. Venkatesan spoke with me for maybe two minutes. Didn't sit down. The only doctor who really listened to my concerns and responded to them was Dr. Steinberg, the audiology specialist (no pun intended). And after they put me through four to five different tests, which took over 2.5 hours, there was no doctor around to sit down with me and tell me what they thought was going on! Dr. V had left for the day! I had barely been able to tell them what was wrong! I have to go back for another appointment, pay another co-pay. I went there knowing - by reputation - that they would put me through all the tests they possibly could. Maybe that means they are thorough, maybe they just want my money. But after spending so much time there, it would have been nice to be respected enough to be allowed to talk with someone for more than two minutes. I hope this review helps with their processes, because I really do think the doctors and staff at this place are incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. I just wish they'd share their knowledge with their patients...

Absolutely great! Very knowledgeable, explained everthing thoroughly, took the time to ask me if I had any questions. Highly recommend.

While we waited for a long time, the nurse and reception staff were very nice and explained why we were waiting. Dr venkatesan was not available, he had to go to ER or something, but the doctor we did see was nice and did a great job. I will definitely come back, all staff were very nice to my Developmentally Disabled resident, who I brought to get his nose looked at. You would be surprised to know how many doctors and nurses are rude and uncomfortable with this population. Thank you very much. Martha Collison with Danny Jarvis

Dr. Venkatesan and staff are true professionals! Friendly, efficient, and understanding....after my visit I could tell their overall practice was geared to meet their patients needs. Outside of the care I received, I was seen on time and not kept waiting more than a couple of minutes throughout my hour appointment (including several tests) which is a rare with most Doctor visits. Great overall patient experience, just the way it should be.

I thought that he was very thorough and explained everything to me. He gave me several treatment options.
