Professional Statement:

Dr. Valerie Oram is a practicing Endocrinologist at Murray Hill Medical Group, PC. Dr. Oram graduated with distinction from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology. She attended medical school at New York University.

Dr. Oram completed her internship and residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. She completed her fellowship at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center. During her fellowship, she was involved with research on diabetes, aging and Resveratrol, an active ingredient in red wine.

Dr. Oram’s interests include diabetes, obesity, thyroid, osteoporosis, polycystic ovarian disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders and general endocrinology. She has expertise in interpreting bone densitometry and thyroid ultrasound results.

Dr. Oram is board certified in Internal Medicine and Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. She is a member of the Endocrine Society, Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the American Diabetes Association.
