Can't say enough,he's always been so helpful and caring. My child thinks the world of him and thats all that matters to me as a parent.

Dr. Van Koinis is amazing for several reasons. First of all, he sees us right away when we get there, which is a first for me here in Chicago. Secondly, I appreciated that he didn't even mention vaccinations and didn't pressure me to get onto a certain schedule. Thirdly, he is open minded and really gave me a good baring on how my kids are doing and what I can do to help them. One thing is, he doesn't let you talk very much unless you really insist on getting your two cents in. He doesn't wait for the whole story before he starts to give advice. I guess thats part of the way he can get you in and out and not make his patients wait though! Eventually he got the whole story and it was all clear though.

Dr Koinis is always kind and caring. He helps me to understand what is going on in terms that I understand.

There is not one complaint for Dr Koinis!!!! He has handled all of my children's serious and not so serious conditions. He has been on top of everything!!!

He explained everything in simple terms so you could understand and he is one of those doctors' that takes the time to be certain that everything is okay not just the ”let's wait and see” kind. Offers a referrel in the event you need to see a specialist....just overall a great doc :)

Dr. Koinis is extremely knowledgable about children and treatment options. Every time I have taken my two year old son to Dr. Koinis I've been astounded by his abundance of information. He is passionate about what he does, and shows compassion when you and your child may both be a complete disaster. He allows me to rest assured that he knows exactly what is going on wih my son, and how he is going to make him better. He is always available to consult with and checks back to see progress. I'm thankful for such a terrific doctor it's refreshing!

Dr. Koinis was AMAZING with my niece and nephew. He really worked with myself and the kids. Even his assistant Stephanie was warm and welcoming. This was our first visit and it was pleasant. The other thing I liked was that Dr. Koninis was fast but effective.

No waiting which is great for a pediatrician's office. Thorough with follow up testing to obtain a diagnosis. Very nice to make appointment on internet and actually get in!

I LOVE Dr. Koinis you never wait for him & he is so wonderful with all kids. He will take any questions you may have; even if you think that they are silly he always understands where you are coming from as a parent & he walks through everything with you! I would recommend Dr. Koinis to any family members or friends; I never knew that he was located so close to home either. He is a hidden gem! The office needs to be updated but it will never stop me from being a patient; he is wonderful! I left a practice of 5 ped. & came to Dr. Koinis and I have never regretted my change!! I loved Verna his nurse & I would love to see her back there one day! Wonderful place for my children & I couldn't ask for more from our ped.

Dr. Koinis is awesome he is thorough professional and always pleasant. In the 11 years he has been our doctor we have never had to wait even for a last minute appt.

He was great! Doctors tend to never really explain the reasoning behind his examination. He explained to me what he was looking for in my child and what kinds of things would signal a red flag which required further tests. I really appreciate the fact that he took the time to explain to me what he was looking for in my child!

We have going to Dr Koinis for 16 years.. I have only had to wait out in the waiting are once in all these years. We are always given same day appointments for a sick child. If its after hours and you have Dr Koinis paged.. He always calls back in less than 25-30 minutes. We could not ask for a better pediatrician.

Dr.Koinis has been seeing my daughters since they were born. They are now 17 and 14 years old. His demeanor is always pleasant and professional. If I need to have him paged outside of office hours, he responds to his page within five minutes no matter what day of the week or time. He's amazing!!!

It was a great visit, as usual. We have NEVER waited more then 1 minute to see him in his office. My kids love hime!

Dr. Koinis cares about both my children's well being. He has seen them grow and taken care of them from infancy to preteen age. He was knowedgeable enough to catch MRSA in my 5 yr. old son before it got too serious. He is a great doctor!

I have 5 children ages 1-15 years old. We visit Dr. Koinis pretty often. We moved to Indiana and my children love him so much when they are sick they only want to see him so we travel 1 hour to see him and we never have to wait. I have paged him many times over the years and he has always called right back. He's a great doctor!
