Dr. Prabaker has practiced in San Diego since 1987 and currently holds a position on the Board of Directors for San Diego County Medical Society. The motto in
his practice is “Care, Compassion, and Competency”. In other words, he is aware of the importance of listening to and recognizing your health concerns, and he takes care in treating the “entire patient” with aggressive preventative care as well as managing current health conditions through heart tests, bone-density tests, lipids testing, diabetes counseling, a wellness clinic for weight reduction, and much more. He is a master in health care, developing health care strategies that make sense not just to him, but most importantly to his patients.
Dr. Prabaker trained at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University in Maryland to further his education in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He was the Assistant Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Case Western Hospital in Cleveland. His expertise training quality clinicians lent to his appointment as Director of Internal Medicine for the Family Practice Residency Program at Grossmont Hospital, which he held for 6 years.
