Dr. Waseem Mir MD

Dr. Mir took the time to discuss my options regarding medication and the risks involved with the new medication. He is serious, but compassionate enough to address your complaints with understanding. The office secretary, Christina, is a delightful person and makes you feel right at home.

I was very pleased with Dr. Mir. He was patient, thorough and explained everything to me in detail. I left with a better understanding of my condition and treatment options. I have already referred a family member and he is now not only my friend, but my rheumatologist.

The doctor was very compassionate, took his time to listen to me, the staff was courteous and professional. I feel confident that this doctor will address all my needs. Highly recommended!!!!

Overall the visit was ok. The staff was friendly and courteous. I personally thought the DR seemed bored and disinterested in everything i was saying. Seemed to have his mind made up on my issues and not really listening to me. Hopefully the followup exam will be better but i would not recommend him if you are looking for a DR who is personable and will lead the conversation.

Knowledgeable, kind, and helpful, Dr. Mir answered all my questions about acupuncture and made me feel comfortable. He was attentive and personable, wanting to take time to learn about my health conerns overall (not just the reason for the visit). I've already made a follow up appointment!

Dr. Mir seems like a nice doctor but seemed SOMEWHAT serious. What I liked most about him was the fact that he took his time with me, didn't rush me out and asked me if I had any questions. He wasn't quick to throw meds at me, so that was a plus. Overall, I'd recommend him. I'd like to add that he has the friendliest staff on this planet.

He was very knowledgable. He addressed my needs and listened and heard what I was saying; responding well.

Dr. Waseem is a very professional doctor. He was able to narrow down my symptoms I described to the different aliments I was having and is not quick to medicate but rather listen and see what the best options are long term for a person's quality of life.

This Dr. is so nice and his secretary is also very sweet and helpful. He took his time during my visit and discussed my options for treatment with me in detail.I love that he was willing to LISTEN to my concerns about medications and that he is working with me to help me in dealing with my RA.I will be following up with him for all of my RA care.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Waseem Mir to anyone who is looking for a primary physician. I went to see him with chronic stomach pain and due to his experience and dedication I was diagnosed with appendicitis and admitted immediately to the emergency room at Mount Sinai hospital to have my appendix removed. Dr. Mir explained the course of action to be taken in advance and as a result the correct steps were taken to diagnose me and in a timely manner that prevented a potential fatal condition.
