Professional Statement:

Yolanda C. Holmes, M.D. is a private practice dermatologist in downtown Washington, D.C. She graduated from Howard University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Development. She received here M.D. from the Medical Collage of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. Before completing her dermatology residency, Dr. Holmes was research fellow at the Department of Dermatology at Howard University Hospital. She completed her residency at Howard University and the Washington D.C. VA Medical Center. She is Board Certified in Dermatology. She is currently on the attending staffs at Howard University Hospital and the Washington Hospital Center. She is a member of the National Medical Association, DC Dermatological Society and the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Holmes participates and volunteers with her community and church. She is a mentor to many students who sometimes rotate through her office.
