Dr. Chu is one of my favorite doctors. I like the way he endeavors to solve your problem while respecting your opinion. I want to mention that I was very sick at one point with respiratory problems, and he was the only doctor out of many to realize I was suffering from acid reflux. He is sometimes friendly, and sometimes very businesslike, but is always concerned and very professional. Sue was also a pleasure. She was very sympathetic to my issues. Also, quick as a flash in writing the scripts... (I bet Dr. Chu is a pain in the ass about that) Also professional as well as very good looking. : ) Also, I want to say something positive about the way the front desk handles you. I was most unhappy with some of my previous office visits in the old office. I have been to many doctors and have never been treated in this manner. As soon as you sign in… and sit down… they used to call you up to the desk. Very loud. Am I getting called already? No. Stand on the spot and now answer ten questions about insurance and whatever. Why? You have all my info? I felt like I was back in the army. I almost complain to Dr. Chu, but I was too sick. Imagine, drilling sick patients as they are standing in front of the Sargent…. I mean desk. Trust me… it was not done gently by some. Todays visit was great. Called up there…. but totally different feeling tone…Simply asked if anything had changed… signed a paper….. got a smile and sat down. Much appreciated change. My thanks to whomever, was putting themselves in a patient’s place.

It was my first time going to see dr. daramola. When i went in the computers were down for a few minutes but they were still able to get me started right away with the paperwork. The waiting room was very relaxing and quiet, had comfy chairs, and even though it wasn't huge it's arranged so you still have privacy if you're filling something out (I went to the Becker location). The receptionist/nurse (i cant remember her name but I believe she is the only one) was very inviting and helpful. Literally the minute after i gave her the rest of my completed forms she showed me to a examination room. I was a bit worried and she reassured me and explained different processes. I waited about another minute and the doctor came in. He was very very friendly and I felt i could trust him immediately. He seemed to ask all the right questions and made it easy for me to understand different symptoms he was talking about (sometimes doctors have very vague descriptions of certain feelings or things i may be experiencing). He answered all my questions very thoroughly and made sure i understood everything. He told me a few conditions it was possibly I had, and then explained the tests I may need for each one (not that he was recommending each one to me). He said i should, however, have a nasaloscopy to get a better diagnostic of my symptoms. Again, he explained the entire procedure to me and what to expect during it. I told him I was a little worried about it because I've never had anything really done at a doctor's besides a shot. He brought in the nurse to hold my hand which was so nice and calming! (they may do this anyway due to the slight discomfort with the procedure, but it still made me feel a lot better). Dr. Daramola and his nurse continued to reassure me and keep me updated with what i should be expecting to feel. He went very slowly and carefully but still made the procedure go by pretty quick, and didn't push me to do anything too discomforting. Afterwards he offered various treatment plans for me and let me know the (few) downsides of different options as well. He forwarded my prescriptions to my pharmacy right away. OVERALL: He and his nurse were very friendly, patient, professional and knowledgeable. I've been to so many doctors and he is by far the best! I wish he had a degree in every field lol
