Jason A. Moche, M.D. is a fellowship trained Facial Plastic Surgeon and board-certified Otolaryngologist. He currently holds an academic appointment of Assistant Clinical Professor at Columbia University and is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive ... more... Surgery as well as the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He specializes in all aspects of facial cosmetic surgery as well as surgery of the Head and Neck and Skull Base. He graduated from Washington University with high honors where he co-developed a surgical simulation platform for emergency procedures. He then went on to study medicine at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine where he graduated at the top of his class earning his M.D. and gaining admission to the esteemed medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed his surgical internship at the University of Maryland in General Surgery. He then completed his Head and Neck Surgery subspecialty residency at the University of Maryland – Shock Trauma Center where he served as Chief Resident and gained advanced experience in facial trauma. Following his residency training, he completed a Facial Plastics and Reconstruction fellowship with Columbia University at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center under the instruction of Drs. Peter D. Constrantino, and Steven J. Pearlman. Dr. Moche is well recognized in his field. He has presented at numerous national meetings and has published many scientific articles and textbook chapters. Dr. Moche actively pursues teaching house staff and medical students through traditional instruction, and looks to improve medical education with ongoing research into surgical simulation, and interactive web applications.
