Abraham Sleem
You will receive a comprehensive exam unless you tell us that you want otherwise. Be prepared to have your eyes dilated, which usually lasts about 4-6 hours and usually blurrs the "near" vision. Blurriness sometimes can last 24 hours, and may affect distance vision as well. It is best to have an escort, and we do not recommend driving after dilation.
A thorough eye exam can take around 90 minutes depending on any additional testing recommended.
Patients booking a ZOCDOC appointment within 48 hours of the appointment are considered "walk-ins" and may experience longer wait times. If time is a factor, please call us in advance.
Please have any referrals available from your primary care doctor in advance of the visit. We will work diligently with your insurance to secure your entitlements but you are ultimately responsible for any copays or deductibles as per your insurance contracts.
