Practice Statement

Dr. Kyle Tanaka graduated from Northwestern University of Dentistry, located in Chicago, Illinois, in 1987. He has been practicing dentistry for over 20 years.

He is a member in good standing in the American Dental Association, the Washington State Dental Association, California ... Dental Association, Seattle-King County Dental Society, and American Society of Forensic Odontology. Continuing his professional growth is a huge part of his practice. He participated in numerous classes and workshops. He also served as a member of the Santa Clara County peer review and forensic committee over five years. Dr. Tanaka also completed the Southwest symposium on forensic odontology.

He grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and attended the University of Hawaii. After receiving his degree from the Northwestern dental school, he practiced dentistry in San Jose, California for over 20 years. He made the move to the Seattle area to be near family. Dr. Tanaka is an avid fisherman and can found fishing at lakes, rivers and the ocean when not in the office. Due to his Hawaiian background, he also loves collecting shells and has a collection from around the world.
