Practice Statement

Dr. Vahedifar graduated with honors from UCLA and subsequently graduated from Tulane University College of Medicine where he did extensive research on nerve associated pain. He subsequently completed his residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at UCLA Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Multi-campus Residency and its affiliated hospitals including Shriners Hospital for Children, Wadsworth Veterans Administration, Orthopedic Hospital, and Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center. Dr. Vahedifar continued his training under the head of Orthopedic Spine Surgery at Orthopedic Hospital and did postgraduate training in spine and interventional spine treatments. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a Diplomat of the American Board of Pain Medicine, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
