Friberg Medical Associates is a small independent private practice with offices in Glencoe and in Downtown Chicago at the Water Tower Place. Dr Friberg has been helping couples with infertility problems since the late 60’s in Sweden. In 1981 he had the first successful IVF in the Midwest, and he continues to be on the forefront of new technologies. Currently Friberg Medical Associates offers all contemporary infertility treatment, including ovarian stimulation, intrauterine/intratubal insemination, male infertility evaluation, In Vitro Fertilization, donor eggs, and surrogate treatment as well as donor insemination. Dr. Friberg is the only reproductive endocrinologist in Chicagoland offering the new, less invasive, outpatient ablation treatment of uterine fibroids, (Ablate 2000).Unlike most fertility specialists, he will see his patients through their pregnancy as well and for follow ... up care. His practice strives to provide individual based care, with a focus on the patient, thus returning to the human side of medicine. We are not a very large practice, and thus can focus on each patient’s individual needs. Dr. Friberg’s expertise, care, and compassion are un-matched and patients that receive treatment at Friberg Medical Associates realize they are getting the best care in Chicagoland. He doesn’t fit the patient into the treatment, He fits the treatment to the patient.
