Our team of doctors, in Houston, has devoted its careers to specializing in adult and pediatric foot disorders from the most common to the most complex problems in order to provide the highest level of expertise and care. The podiatrists working with us have spent years in medical practice specializing in ailments including foot pain, surgery, ankle pain and other foot problems.
The human foot is a biological masterpiece. It is a complex structure containing 26 bones, 33 joints and a network of more than 100 tendons, muscles and ligaments in addition to blood vessels and nerves. All function together as a strong, and flexible instrument. An average day of walking, for example, brings a force equal to several hundred tons to bear on the feet. This is why foot ailments are among the most common of our health problems.
