Practice Statement

When patients want friendly, professional, and thorough podiatric care, they come to Dr. Anchal Dureja. Dr. Dureja prides herself on making her patients comfortable and helping them heal as quickly as possible.

After earning her BS in Biochemistry at SUNY at Stony Brook, Dr. Dureja ... completed two residency programs – the first at St. Vincent’s Midtown Primary Podiatric Medicine Program (PPMR) in New York, and the second in podiatric surgery at the Northport DVAMC Surgical Residency Program in Northport. Dr. Dureja currently serves as a Podiatry Associate at practice locations in Manhattan and Queens, where she performs treatments across the range of podiatric care, including orthotics, sports medicine, and forefoot surgery.

Dr. Dureja boasts a varied research background, including work on gait analysis using Musgrave, Vicon 370 TM, and Kistler force plates. Her medical lectures include “Nail Matrixectomies,” which she delivered at the Podiatry Grand Rounds in February 2005. Dr. Dureja is licensed by the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners through level three, and she is qualified to practice podiatry in both New York and New Jersey. She is happy to meet with patients in four different languages, including Spanish, Hindi, and Punjabi. In her spare time, she stays active and invigorated with hobbies that include hiking and jet skiing. She also loves to relax and catch up on her reading.
