Practice Statement

Skin Laser & Surgery Specialists perform both medical and cosmetic procedures. Medical procedures are typically covered (at least in part) by insurance (but please check with them to be sure).

Cosmetic procedures, like fillers, laser hair removal, veiin treatments, cellulite treatment, ... and facial peels are typically not covered by insurance. For cosmetic consultations, there will be a fee of $200 (if you see our doctor) or $150 (if you see our PA).

If we determine that the procedures are medical in nature, we will gladly refund your fee. When in doubt, please check with your insurance plan.
